Webflow Workspace Plans (Per Team Seat) — 2026

Workspace Plans are for teams building and managing sites. Freelancers with 1–2 projects might stay on the free Starter Workspace, but agencies and product teams need paid workspace seats.

Complete Pricing Restructure — Workspace Plans Introduced August 2023

Webflow's most significant pricing change in its history. The old Account Plans (Individual, Lite, Pro, Team) were replaced with Workspace Plans. Site plans were also restructured. Many long-time customers saw effective price increases of 25–60%, particularly freelancers and small agencies who were on the old $35/month Pro plan and were moved to Core at $19/seat/month — a per-seat increase if they had even 2 collaborators.

If you need a beautiful, maintainable website without a developer, Squarespace's drag-and-drop editor is faster and cheaper. Webflow's power comes with complexity — you're essentially writing CSS visually, which requires more skill to use effectively.

Framer (~$10–30/month/site) is the closest design-code alternative to Webflow. Framer has a more modern interface and is particularly popular for marketing sites. Its pricing is simpler (per-site, no workspace complexity) but it has a smaller template/plugin ecosystem and lacks Webflow's CMS depth.

For solo freelancers building one site for themselves: you can use the free Starter Workspace (solo only) and add a paid Site Plan ($14–39/month) just for hosting. For agencies or teams collaborating on sites: yes, you'll need a paid Workspace Plan per seat in addition to Site Plans for each live site. The total cost can be substantial for teams.

What is the cheapest way to use Webflow for a live website?

The minimum for a solo user to have a live site on a custom domain: free Starter Workspace (solo only) + Basic Site Plan at $14/month annually. That gets you a static site with custom domain. Can I export Webflow code?
